1. Sponsor
The 2026 Ghost Ridge Spring Gobbler Challenge (“Contest”) is sponsored by Ghost Ridge Brand (“Sponsor”).
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Participants under 18 may enter with parent or legal guardian permission.
Void where prohibited by law.
3. Contest Period
Entries will be accepted beginning March 1, 2026 and ending June 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST.
Winner will be announced on or around July 1, 2026.
4. How To Enter
Participants may enter by:

Owning and wearing a Ghost Ridge hat in submission photos
OR - Purchasing a contest entry through the Ghost Ridge website
Each legally harvested turkey requires a separate entry submission.
There is no limit to the number of entries per participant during the contest period.
Only one Grand Prize may be awarded per participant.
5. Harvest Requirements
All turkeys must:
Be legally harvested wild turkeys
- Be taken during the 2026 spring turkey season in the state of harvest
- Comply with all applicable state and local hunting regulations
Entries harvested outside the 2026 season are not eligible
6. Required Submission Materials
Each entry must include:
- All Beard measurement photos with measuring device visible
- Spur measurement photo with measuring device visible
- Weight measurement photo with scale visible
- Photo of hunter with turkey while wearing a Ghost Ridge hat
- Handwritten paper showing “Ghost Ridge 2026” and harvest date
Incomplete submissions may be disqualified.
7. Scoring is based on NWTF Scoring system as follows
- Weight: The total weight of the bird in pounds and ounces is converted to decimal form (e.g., 20 lbs 4 oz = 20.25).
- Spurs: Both spurs are measured in inches from the point of protrusion from the leg skin to the tip. These two measurements are added together and then multiplied by 10.
- Beard: The beard is measured from the center point of the protrusion from the skin to the tip of the longest bristle. The total length is multiplied by 2. If the bird has multiple beards, they are added together before multiplying.
Score will be calculated using the following formula:
Weight (lbs and ounces) + All Beard Lengths (inches) + Left Spur Length (inches) + Right Spur Length (inches)
The entry with the highest verified score at the end of the contest period will be declared the winner.
In the event of a tie, Sponsor reserves the right to determine the winner based on additional criteria or tie-breaking review.
Scoring and standings will be determined solely by Ghost Ridge Brand.
Interim standings may or may not be publicly shared.
Final decisions are at the sole discretion of the sponsor.
8. Verification
Sponsor reserves the right to verify all entries and may request additional documentation including but not limited to:
- Additional photos or video
- Harvest confirmation
- Witness verification
- State harvest records
Failure to provide verification may result in disqualification.
9. Prize
Grand Prize:
One (1) winner will receive $250 USD cash.
Prize is non-transferable. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
Winner is responsible for any applicable taxes.
10. Publicity & Media Release
By entering, participants grant Ghost Ridge Brand permission to use submitted photos, videos, names, likeness, and stories for promotional, marketing, and advertising purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
11. Conduct
Any attempt to manipulate, falsify, or tamper with the contest process may result in disqualification at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates contest rules or engages in unethical conduct.
12. Limitation of Liability
By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Ghost Ridge Brand from any liability, injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance of any prize.
13. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity of the contest.
All decisions by Sponsor are final.
